Believe it or not! Every individual has some unique skills and if it is honed it will take a person to remarkable success. No matter if an individual does not seem to be skilful. Let’s talk about a successful and most adorable director Karan Johar.

What are the most talked about topics about Karan Johar? It is his sex- whether he is homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual or any other sexual. It is his successful life- how much his directed films earned, which film he is working on right now and how many films did he directed so far. However, people rarely think about how he became so successful? What was his unique skills and qualities that made him successful? You might be thinking that this successful man would be intelligent and used to do good in schools and colleges. No, he was not until he gets an exposure.

Karan Johar was not good at study and he was an introvert, shy and lack in confidence. But, something took place in his school (Green Lawns) life that turned his life from being introvert, shy and lack of confidence to social, self-confident and of course his shyness gone away from his life.
Green Lawns had a club called Interact Club where discussions, speeches and debates amongst students used to take place. Any students can be a part of the club after registration. Karan once peeping inside the club through its window when a teacher called him inside and asked to join the session once.

It was a speech session so Karan was asked to deliver a speech on ‘mother’. Initially, He did not know what to say but once he started, he impressed the students and teacher there.

The teacher was so impressed that Karan was asked to participate in an inter-school elocution contest. He wrote the speech delivered, and he came first in the contest.

Aftermath, he got famous. Students started knowing him and became friends with him. From there onwards, he gained confidence and become social. He started to do well in his study and used to participate in every contest apart from sports because he was not good at it.

Afterwards, he met Aditya Chopra. Aditya somehow came to know that Karan had a good instinct for film direction. Aditya asked Karan to assist him in the film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Even steering actor Shah Rukh Khan of this film came to know that Karan had a good directing and film writing skills and forced him to write a film and assured that he will be an actor in his film.

Karan wrote the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and the successful journey of film direction started on.

What if Karan was not asked to participate in interact club of his school and inter-school elocution contest? He could not able to reveal his skills and he would be somewhere else living a normal and unsung life.
